There are eight planets that orbit the Sun.  Jupiter is the 5th planet from the Sun.  Jupiter got it's name from the supreme God of the Romans.

When you go and visit Jupiter you won't be able to stand because it is made of gas.  You would also see a great red spot which is a storm.
